Our volunteers are the heart of our community garden!

At SWAMP we have volunteers from all walks of life, and you don’t need to know how to garden to become a volunteer.

We welcome people with different skills beyond gardening, to support the development and growth of our space.
Here at SWAMP you will learn and share about the gardens, understand all the activities available to
you for volunteering and meet new friends.

Our community gardening mornings are Wednesday’s from 9.30am to 12.30pm.

Our harvest mornings Tuesday 8.00 am to 9.30 am

We look forward to welcoming all our new volunteers!

Discovery Days!

We always welcome extra help. Our Discovery Days are held throughout the year, and it is a great way to get involved outside our usual weekday gardening sessions. We often include guest facilitators and workshops, garden tour, seedling sales, cake stall and children’s activities.

Even if you are not a registered volunteer, come sign up! Our Discovery Days are generally busy and we collaborate with our neighbour The Golden Grove. We advertise these via our social media and in our monthly newsletters.

Bring some morning tea, we will have the kettle on!
