Our volunteers are the heart of our community garden!

At SWAMP we have volunteers from all walks of life, and you don’t need to know how to garden to become a volunteer.

We welcome people with different skills beyond gardening, to support the development and growth of our space. Here at SWAMP you will learn and share about the gardens, understand all the activities available to you for volunteering and meet new friends.

Working Bees every month

We always welcome extra help. Working Bees are held on the last Sunday of every month and it is a great way to get involved and meet other like minded people.

There is always plenty to do – see whoever’s in charge on the day, and they’ll help you to find a task that best suit your abilities.

Even if you are not a registered volunteer, Working Bee Sunday in general is busy, so just come on down and join us.

We always have a cuppa ready to be served to all volunteers!
